The Story
I've been making things move, glow, and come alive on screens for over two decades. My journey started in classical animation—learning timing, weight, and the subtle art of bringing characters to life frame by frame. From there, I brought those principles into the digital realm, creating animation for IMAX large-format films and television productions at Mercury Filmworks.
The Work
I founded Imaginix, a digital media, mobile gaming, and esports startup where I raised investment, managed a team of 40, and led prototyping efforts. It's where I combined creative vision with entrepreneurial execution.
I've also spent over two decades teaching art—both online and offline. Currently teaching on Preply, helping students worldwide master everything from classical animation principles to digital painting and character design.
The Edge
My path hasn't been linear. I've pitched to VCs, participated in accelerators like Seneca HELIX and the European Innovation Academy, and stayed connected to Toronto's gaming and creative tech communities. All of it feeds into how I approach creative work—with both artistic vision and real-world pragmatism.
The Tools
3D: ZBrush, 3DS Max, Blender
2D: Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate
Motion: After Effects, Premiere
Now
I'm transitioning into concept art for the gaming industry—combining everything I've learned about animation, design, and visual storytelling into creating worlds and characters for games. Open to remote opportunities and creative collaborations.
